Karl E. Spear was an American football coach in the United States. ==Coaching career== Spear was the head college football coach for the Baker Wildcats located in Baldwin City, Kansas. He held that position for 17 seasons, from 1946 until 1962.〔 〕 His coaching record at Baker was 87 wins, 61 losses and 4 ties.
